Ken' s daughter Kristi asked me to reach out to anyone that knew him to let them know there will be a Celebration of Life held for him on April 7th at 11AM. It will be held at The Windsong Estate Event Center at 2901 Saddler Blvd Severance, Co 80524. Ken was an active member on here for many years attending many events contributing regularly. Please reach out to anyone that knew him or might be able to attend.
He will be missed.

Shovelcowboy was a very active and entertaining member of the Forum. I’ll forever remember him as the friendly badass that his photos depicted, and definitely had the impression the guy was a force of nature. I never had the pleasure of meeting him personally. RIP Shovelcowboy.

I did have the pleasure several times spending time with him and riding the roads. You are right he had a very commanding presence and was the nicest guy you’d ever cross paths with.

Had the pleasure of meeting Ken in Sturgis in 2010 and riding to the KOA campground for lunch with the Bigdog crew. Spent the evening visiting with Ken & Mike at the campsite at Hog Heaven Campground. Stayed in contact with him until a couple of years ago. He was going to tour me through Zion National Park and let me stay at his cottage in St. George. Unfortunately that is right when his son passed away. Will always remember him for his kindness and humor. RIP Ken.
