Just got back from a short trip down the road. When I got home, I looked down to find one of my passenger pegs AWOL.:angry: Man, I was ticked, but not as ticked off as the wifey!!! She let loose on me about doing the simple things that I should have done like checking the tightness of bolts.:bang: So to keep your old ladies from harping on you...KEEP'EM TIGHT!

Oh brother that sucks. I just tightened one of mine because it kept fallen down when she wasn't on it.

Same thing happened to me and it rolled down onto my pipe and melted the shit out of the rubber onto my pipe. That was a bitch to get off!!!:bang: :bang:

How did you get the rubber off the pipe?

I had everything laid out and ready to go. Went for a ride and got things good and hot. Used a water wet rag and most of it just wiped off. I then used some engine tuner and got the residual off with no problem! Now I just got a custom right side pass peg!!! Oh well good excuse to change out all the pegs!

Loctite almost everything. I get the pipe hot and use a white undershirt and a little elbow grease.
