KC Creations PROBLEM

Gentlemen,

Bottom Line: I bought my K-9 a month ago and I have yet to have the "trade-in" bike paid for.

They were real quick to cash the check I gave them, but not real quick in handing out money. I have yet to walk back in to that damn store since I bought there.

It wasn't until after I bought the bike that I started hearing about all the past problems.

I already talked to Big Dog MNG and they are being great, and I already have researched my options with Better Business Bureau.

what are my other options?

Call the police and file a fraud complaint with the state dealer board. The fine will get that punk's attention. That's right Kim, I just called you a PUNK on a public forum. It would be defamation of character IF YOU HAD ANY and it wasn't a true statement...

Not understanding you - You traded a bike for your BDM and he hasn't paid off the trade in? Is that what you're saying?

If that is correct, I can pretty much say that if that were me he'd have 2 options:

1) I'd do what was in my best interest first and put a pot knot the size of Arkansas right on the side of his head.

2) Seeing that if you're still getting letters from the financing company you go to KY Creations and just ride the bike off of the lot. Technically if the financing company is looking to you for the pay off then the bike still belongs to you.:D :D :D

3) Final option - You buy the N.J. Chapter of the "Jestures" round trip tickets to pay ol' Kim a visit.

Sorry to hear about your luck with him. Hopefully you'll get things straightened out quick.

Something doesn't seem right and if they haven't paid off the trade-in, even with possibly delays, who will be paying the payments and fixing your credit if it shows late?

Make sure you work with your original finance company and let them know of the situation so that you do not get no marks against you credit due to KC or other delays.

Would also send a certified letter to KC with a copy of all your paper work, any correspondence that you have had with the finance company and basically request them to respond and provide the status along with actions taken by them to make such payments as agree to in your contract. Would not be a bad idea to also cc the current finance company if you are financing the new ride and let them know. If you did do a finance agreement for the new ride, it should all be on the contract and thus is their responsibility to comply with such legal documents.

If it was a cash with trade, then follow up with the BBB and approriate State Department that deals with consumer affairs after giving KC appropriate time to respond as per you certified letter with a drop dead date.

Good luck

Uhhhh.....why haven't you actually gone back there?? Doing things face to face is better than on the phone or by e-mail. Might be a simple clerical fuck up.

You need to go down there now and get this straightened out.

A lot of these bike dealers seem to have their financial affairs in order like a crack whore.

finally

Gentlemen,

thanks for all your help and replies. The balance is now ZERO on the BIKE!!

After I gave hell to every single person at KC Creations on the phone this morning (including a new parts guy who had no idea was a K-9 even was), I made one phone call to Tim at the Big Dog HQ in Wichita (Sales Manager). He has always been a gentlemen, just like Brian. I explained the situation and within two hours, my bike was at zero balance. High five to BDM HQ for cleaning up their most worthless dealer's bad service.

And just so you all know, a formal complaint is being processed at about every level and every organization out there. After spending 30 Gs on a bike you think someone would think "after sale" business is important. guess not.

ride safe gentlemen:flag:
