Karata update

I talked to Jim last Friday afternoon about ordering my open belt drive. He said he would get it sent out. It has been less than a week that I talked to him and I am holding the thing in my hand. I got it from UPS regular ground and I did not pay for overnight or ask for 2nd day air just regular freight.

With me getting it today that tells me he put it on the truck the same day. Not often do I get something I ordered on time or before I expected it it. I just wanted to brag a little about how much fun it was dealing with Jim and how quick he responded to my call.

Thanks to the whole Karata group for making such an awesome product and thanks Jim for the speedy delivery on it. :up::up::up::up::up:

congrats on the belt drive what size did you get, and post some pics i still have to get my posted have to find the camera first

I went with the 4" with the Razor outer bearing support. As soon as I get it installled and the motor back together I will post pictures. I had the heads ported and polished and the jugs and heads are now at S&S getting Zero decked adn diamond cut. When they return I will get it back together and pictures posted.

I would help you out with the blown truck deal but it seems for some strange reason I don't seem to have any extra mad money left. I did have some a little while ago but not sure where it went.

I was looking for extra mad money the other day and it seems after getting heads ported and polished, Jugs and heads diamond cut, zero decking, new chrome xxx carb, 2.5 extended forward controls, chromed the triple trees and motor mount and I am having an exhaust custom made my way, New 650 woods cam and the new open belt drive I have no extra money to just blow on extra stuff. Not sure where it went but have an idea.
