If you notice, the stupid additions to the rear fender are just front fender mounting brackets.

I made a post about this bike a few months ago. It has been bought and sold over and over again. Something is definitely wrong with it IMO! I wouldn't touch it for the price they keep asking. Beware!

We've got a name for that kind of engineering here in the South and it's NOT MIT engineering. IMHO a Big Dog has an understated style which is what I was drawn to in the first place. I, as many of us I'm sure are, don't look to have a bunch of frilly do-dads hanging all over the place on our chops. The suttle styling is what I was attrated to and it drove my decision to write a check to buy my new K9. I wasn't attracted to the glitter even of an American Ironhorse. Don't get me wrong they are a fine chop in my book, but just not my style of chop. I had seriously considered one along with a Viper but---too expensive! Very nice bike though!
I didn't say anything about those did they leave any room for any more?
Just not my cup of tea but to each his own, I guess.

I agree with Tom Chop. Way too much add on bling crap. Not my cup of tea, but, there is a cover for every pot, and an ass for every seat.

:2thumbs:Less is More. I put a Sissy bar on mine and my wife made me take it off. She is the fashion expert in the family. So, I will only use the sissy bar on trips.:D
