K9 Windshield Installed

I had Rodney's Cycle House install a 15" Memphis Shades windshield on my 2008 K9. I got tired of all the sand or dirt stings everytime I got need a truck.
I like the way it turned out. It doesn't stick out like I thought it might. It's almost invisible. And highway riding is GREAT!! Much more comfortable and easier to ride. Whatcha think? Ya ya....some of ya are gonna call me a pussy....hahahahaha. Say that to me after you've turned 60....:lol:

GF says I should get a windshield on the K9 I'm just not at that point yet. I'm not sure if I like it or not. I am curious though why did ya go with the Memphis shades and not the windshield from Big Dog?

Bigdog one is just a wind visor.......haven't heard anything good about them. Asked Rodney and this was a much better deal for bugs and dirt, sand, etc.

Is it a quick detach set-up? Have you tried it some serious wind yet? Does it deflect enough to make it worthwhile?

Not bad looking for the long hauls, but..once you get to your destination and/or ride around locally..I'd take it off.....just my :zz2cents:

When she got her Mastiff, it came with a windshield. Sold it on Ebay the next day.

But to each their own. We both wear full face helmets just because of the sand you speak of. And I'm sure some will call me a pussy for wearing a full face helmet. All I can say is, "you are what you eat".
