Hola, So I put my pillion seat on the bike for the first time the other day smashed it down to get good suction, and took off. Paranoid as usual, I took a look back at a stop lite and the damn thing had slid almost off the bike! I have two questions - how do you stop the seat from sliding around on the fender and will it slide around with a passenger sitting on it too?

Put an ass on the pad to keep it mostly on the fender, and yes, she will prolly slide around a bit, or @ least thats my experience. There are pads that will stick better than BDM but they dont look quite the same. Only true solution is a 2up seat. The p-pad is just another ride in itself, thats what she told me anyways......

One of the old ones.
What Hman says—-If you ride with an empty pillion pad, it’ll be gone after some miles. In fact I suspect there may well be a stunning number of P-pads/sissy bar pads littered along our US highways.
Put a butt or a heavy travel bag on it to to keep it in place and you’re good to go. Always clean the paint and suction cups of any dust/dirt—it acts as sandpaper from the vibration and will make perfect little 2” circles in your paint, too.

Interesting, I have had mine on and off for years, mostly with occasionally without a passenger.

Not only has in never moved a mm, I struggle to get it off without using the little tabs one by one all 6.

I always clean my fender and the cups with detailer before I put it on.

You need a good looking seat cover (around 110 lbs)
