Agree HMAN. In addition, I think it was "Bigdogisba*k boys" attempt to lower the cost of BDM's best selling bike to make it more affordable to a larger number of potential owners with a base price variance of $7,300. Not sure of the success of the K9 250 but my personal preference is the original K9 perhaps because in 2005 I was close to buying the BDM Chopper, but was informed about the K9 coming out in 2006 and decided to wait.Fwiw, the K-9 is the OG from the first Bigdog, the 250 K-9 is the latest from the Bigdogisba*k boys. Thats why you see the difference.
