K9 Low-Level / moore deep seat

Hello BIGDOG´s, my baby is a 2007 BDM K9 (Softtail-suspension).I am looking for a way to submerge my bike, because me the distance between the rear fender is too large. Is it on the market to buy shorter shocks? If you have a link for me - please post here.

you can put on air suspension and run it low on pressure but you will end up with the same effects as a Ridgeback but you could damage the shocks.

The shocks can be adjusted to some extent. Make sure you adjust both the same amount.
Hi, and thanks for your help and answer.
I've heard a lot of the Airride chassis - but one has advised me against it because the chassis with air suspension quite often break down and then sits on the rear wheel on the rear fenders. This fender is damaged then the holder. I am looking for actually shorter and adjustable shock absorbers. I've also been wondering whether you can cut the shock mount, - offset, and can weld again. But I would prefer shorter shocks ... Someone here has another idea?

Sterling is a company that modifies or makes seats for our scoots. He was suggesting you get them to make you a seat that's a lower profile. How much do you want to lower your scoot?

What is Sterling? Is this a company? Sorry for my bad English
Read this thread on my dealings and impressions of Sterling seats: http://www.bigdogbiker.com/forums/seat-leather/25134-sterling-2-up-seat-top-notch-made-usa.html

Sterling will listen to your wants and needs, offer some ideas and options and very quickly send you a World Class seat customized for you and your scoot at a fair price. He will also do a solo seat the same way.

Yes, there are others who can make a seat, yet with Sterling you can be assured of First Class service and an Awesome Seat.:2thumbs:

You can drop the rear over 1" with the shocks you have on the bike / your K-9 has the adjustables. I needed to lower the wifes Chop which came with non-adjustables and had to send her shocks back to Works Performance to get adjustable ends added.

You can actually go farther but I forget what Works recommended. Not sure what you weigh or if you plan on 2-up, but all of that must be taken into account. Contact Works Performance and they can answer all of your questions (good guys to work with).

I wish I had more money.
He doesn't want his ass closer to the ground. He wants his fender closer to the tire. I would go with the airride.

buy a rigid!! the space is there so you have suspension travel, if you close that gap you will lose suspension travel!!

Hello BIGDOGS wants me install an AIR RIDE.

- Who has experience with AIR RIDE in the K9?
- Which Brand is the best?
- Where can you buy airride?
- How is the drivability with airride?
- Would you build again airride?

You probably have the adjustable shocks. Adjust them to the desired height
Do you know how low you can adjust without having to worry about bottoming out if you hit a good bump? I wouldn't be so concerned about bottoming out the shock as I would be the tire hitting the fender.

1 inch gap between fender and tire works for me. And the soft tail has a bumper stop to keep it from hitting the fender
