Alright guys finally got a chance to get the new bike out this season and I'm quickly realizing that I'm gonna need some sort of bag to put stuff in. I've been doing research and I really like the solo bag but its my understanding it won't work with the k9 kickstand. Also I've looked at the strut mounted bag but I can't tell if it blocks the passenger peg or not. I'm gonna get a tool roll but I know I will need more room then that and don't want to always wear a backpack. I'm not a fan of stash tubes so those are out. Any advise would be appreciated and pictures would be great. Thanks fellas

For "ALL Day rides" I use my Kuryakyn bag facing forward for a back rest as well as storage for extra pants, shirts, gloves, tools, etc. Makes long rides VERY COMFORTABLE!
If my wife rides with me, I turn it around and it sits on the luggage rack.

Here is the small bag I use for short rides to carry the minimal gear. Again, you can turn it forward(not big enough for a back rest), or you can turn it rearward. It is a Rapid Transit bag called the Batallion.

Another view with the bag not expanded.

For a week long ride, I add the tube for extra storage along with the roll for my rain cover to the Kuryakyn bag.

If you are talking about the Big Dog bag that is triangular in shape and mounts between the strut and the kickstand , I have one on my K9. I had to drill out the mounting holes a bit but it fits fine.

Got this on a Pit, but would work for a K9 as well. Kuryakyn Grand Roll bag. Works great for work and around town. I've had it strapped to the handle bars also. I use some ROK straps and a gym bag strapped to the front side for weekend runs.

My biggest problem right now is that I am running a lowboy sissybar so I can really mount much on it and cant get the luggage rack. Im really dont want to go with the 12 or 18 inch sissybar cause Im just not crazy about how they look. I basically want to have enough room to throw the registration a pair of glasses and maybe a sweatshirt or something in it. Im not planning on any long rides in the near future so I dont need all the luggage. I may be able to find a smaller bag the I can mount to the lowboy bar if need be I was just looking for a more permanent solution. Thanks for all the help guys keep it coming :2thumbs:

Kuryakyn makes a smaller roll that you could run on the front of your handlebars....just a thought.
