K9 Gas Tank

I have a 2005 BD Chopper. I have noticed that the new(Years) models are sporting different gas tanks. Does anyone have any info on these tanks? For instance capacity and how I can upgrade.

They almost have the Jesse James Villain Tank look.

The 2008 K-9 tank fits the 2006 K-9 / 2006 RIDGEBACK /2008 RIDGEBACK as well. That has a 4.0 gallon tank

The 2008 Pitbull has a 4.6 gallon tank, but shows that it fits that bike only.

Now ... that being said, it all depends on the level of work you want to put into the modification. Just don't forget the tank height and length (I don't have those specs) when deciding on the change.

Your bike as mine does has a four point mount. The newer tank models are three point mounts. You would have to cut and reweld tank mounts on your frame it it even fits as Nelson states above.

Thanks for the input guys. I don't want to get into that type of mod right now. I was just curious if it would work on my bike or not.

It's a sharp looking tank though.
