K&n oilfilter

Has anybody tried K&N 170C oil filter?

Thats all I use. That is how it came from the factory. So I stuck with it

I was under the impression that the 170C was for the twin cam engine. Evo motors use 171C. Has to do with how many microns the filter has.

Yes, the evo filter does not have a check valve in it.

I've used the KN170C for over 16,000 miles and no problems. Its the one the dealer gives me.
