If you still have problems with your kickstand...and you want to feel a little safer with your slowly tilting OEM kickstand......here's the parts for how I followed other members to fix it off this forum. I got a new kickstand from CURTIS at WSW (which I LOVE)....but, wanted to 'fix' my old one as a spare....with the rolling pin part....hope this helps someone.
You need 1/8" Drill bit laying around your garage.
1 - 1/8" X 1" Tension Pin (Roll Pin)
1 - 5/8" X 1" X 18 Gauge Machine Bushing (washer)
I disassembled my kickstand, the design sucks IMO, with that bushing being too big. So I got the washer (above) to make it less wobbly to put around the feed through bushing of the kickstand-makes it more stable, and still flexible enough to go back and forth.
Find the spot for the roll pin, pretty much towards the bottom of the kickstand mount. Drill an 1/8" hole (I started with a smaller bit and just kept going up until the 1/8" reamed it out nicely), pound your 1/8" X 1" tension pin gently through until it's even on BOTH sides of the kickstand mount, so both front and back put pressure on it. You're done.
Roll pin and washer cost less than a dollar.....drill bit, you probably have laying around.....
