If you are the original owner of your K-9...how much did you pay for it? What Year and was it EFI or Carbed?

Thanks

I'm pretty original, and I am the owner but I am not the original owner so I'll let somebody else chime in.

RETIRED
I'm the second owner but the original owner gave me the bill of sale where he bought it in Richmond, Va. and he paid about 31,000 for it and then 2 weeks later carried it back and had the chrome kit put on it for another 5000 grand. These numbers aren't exact, but pretty close. If you need exact numbers, I can give you a break down later tonight with all the pricing.

Thanks for the responses..I have a depreciation formula I use to determine a used car/cycle selling price and I was trying to see what a 2006 would be going for based on my formula.

Any other 06 owners, can you post up what you paid as the original owner.

2006 k9 - I bought mine new in Nov 2006. I think asking was $29K and change. I spoke to the owner directly and we made a deal at $27K - all cash, no checks, no story.

Try your formula on a 1963 Corvette and let me know what I should bid for one....

:roll::roll:
Yeah, I hear ya - $56K - $200K. Condition, matching numbers, engine option? They had 9 different variations of the 327 alone. No such thing as magic formula. All depends on market demand and what a buyer is willing to pay.

Thank You...my formula is that bike of yours would sell for 15K in very good condition and moderate miles on it....

I know times are tough for some owners but they need to stop selling their dogs for cheap. De-values the Big Dog name.

.just my opinion.
