as far as the tank liner goes, that is something you have no control over. it is a coating on the inside of the tank that unfortunately breaks down as one of the effects of there being ethanol in today's gasoline. you are correct to use nothing but 93 octane but even that still has ethanol in it. it's gonna happen, just a question of when. and when it does, it will shed inside the tank and clog things up. but don't worry until it happens, then you will see the shit floating around inside the tank and it will block the flow into the petcock and points beyond. there are kits to strip and re-coat the tank when this happens or if you don't want to do it yourself,there are cos. that will do it for you $$$.
for now, maybe get an aquarium fish net small enough to go into the gas tank and check for loose liner just to see if this is a problem.
