k-9 or chopper?

still new to the whole BD thing-- need some advice

selling my bike TODAY! (I hope)-- will be looking for a chopper style ride

talked to a guy with a Mastiff-- he tells me that he rode a Chopper and much prefers the K-9-- told me the K-9 replaced the Chopper, and BD worked out a few of the bugs they had in the Chopper with the K-9 model

I might be able to get a very good deal on a like-new Chopper-- but, I am having a much harder time finding a k-9

any advice to compare the two?

This has been talked about a few time here, the Chopper is a 8 ft bike with a 250 tire and the K-9 is a 9 ft bike with a 300 tire its really up to you to decide which one is the best fit for you, I would ride them both before making a choice

There's a powersports dealer about a mile down the road from me. He's got an '06 K-9 with 2500 miles on it. I asked him yesterday for a buddy of mine what he wanted for it. He tells me $18500 and then looks at the sky and laughs..........also tells me money talks. By that, I think he's ready to sell...........QUICKLY! He's been sitting on it for 6 months or so. It's got a D&M spiked air cleaner and some V&H straight shots on it, stock pipes & air filter go with bike.

Nice lookin scooter, Burgundy with some tribal Silver flames on it.

also, it had several issues, mostly minor, might still make an offer on it

can't bring an out of state bike into CA until it has at last 7500 miles on it--- sucks

I forgot that good ole' Cali has some major emissions stuff, among other oddities with vehicles/bikes.

Also Chopper has the same motor and HP but less overall weight and less rotating mass = Faster Fucker!!!

I forgot to mention almost everyone I ride with have K9's so thats a bunch of Dicks!!!!
