do not hold your horses !
sorry ... get well soon ! hang tough !
sorry for the dog also

I felt in october from a not needed stupid hard breaking on front wheel only (!?) at 30 mph speed ... no visible scratch on my equipment but seemed to have my left foot caught under the bike, two minor injuries at that time ... and surprise: after 2 weeks I've got myself a "nice" trombosis (veins cut off and other blood complications ...) ... 1 year recovery (too many pills) and a few more takin' it easy

Dont Tread On Me
Get well soon. I went into Subway to get a sandwich, came out standing at the side of the bike with sandwich in hand turned on the key hit the power up button and hit the start button and my bike lunged forward. I dropped the sandwich and stepped on it while keeping the k9 from falling over. I forgot I left it in gear when I went in. Scared the shit outa me. :bang:

Sorry about you accident...get that sugery over with asap...you'll heal faster. I partially tore my quad tendon and waited too long to have surgery. I developed too much scare tissue and there is nothing I can do about it now.

I'm curious to know how you ripped your bicep tendon out. It's all balled up in your arm now isn't it?

Yeah it's balled up and swollen. I tried to hold on to my bike with wot and save the bike, ala dirt bike style..... Bad idea :bang: :bang: :bang: . Now I'm sittin at home, trying to ignore the pain, waitin to see a surgeon on Monday. Peace and thanks for all the words of encouragement. :D :D

not enough time 4 riding
Man that sucks. After the surgeries, listen to all of the doctors' order and do all of the rehab exercises.

Good luck. Feel better.
First day I had my bike I did this, but as soon as the starter engaged I let go of the button and the bike didn't start (thank God). It only moved forward about and inch or two. Ever since then I only hit the starter button if the bike is between my legs and the clutch lever is pulled in (even if I know it is in neutral). Good lesson.
