All right guys, I bought my pup. I wont be able to pick it up until this weekend though. I have exhausted my finances to get it, so it will be a while before I can afford to do any performance up grades. I was jsut wondering how the bone stock 117 would compare to the newer Harley 96. I ride with my dad and brother-in-laws (They ride 07 E-Glide, 04 Road King, 08 StreetGlide, and an 07 Yamaha Warrior) and they will give me some serious hell if they can out run it. Just wondering...

The yamaha may give you hell, but the HD's won't hang. Do a search on the stock exhaust modification and dial in your carb, you won't be diasappointed. Some on the forum have dynoed above 100hp and 118tq on the stock setup.

I actually just posted this on the dyno poll. My 08 K9 dyno'd at just under 106 HP and 115+ TQ. For $125 bucks one of the shops here drilled out my baffles, slapped a high air flow filter in, put it on the dyno and dialed it in for air/fuel. Other than that my bike is stock. Shouldnt have any problem with those guys, and like pig pen said, you are going to way more looks and people asking about your bike compared to theirs.
