After Thanksgiving a lot of “fun stuff”will begin to take shape …I’ll keep everyone in the loop …once the prototypes prove themselves (I’ll be the first to test them after all I’ll be machining them ) …a little on my back ground…so trust should be earned …i have a double masters in engineering (mechanical and electrical ) which means nothing unless you prove that you are worthy of those diplomas …I own and run a machine shop that provides turbo chargers for the class 1s (CSX,NS,CP,UP etcetcetc) those names provide and move all the freight in the US…I live Upstate NY between lake George and Saratoga springs …been riding motorcycles since I was 4….own lots of the brands …the BiG Dog is now on my list to do as much stuff to it where the market is lacking…not here to make money ( I leave that to the professionals) but if any of you like any pieces made then I’ll be more than happy to share them .I won’t make parts that already exist in the market which would be stepping on hard working people .The machine shop has CNC machines which can replicate the designs exactly the same for each part…so whatever fits on my bike will fit yours …my BD is a 2007 K9 with a117 (see previous picts).

Finally I finished my seat …had to create the fiberglass “pan”and then learned how to manipulate leather (vegtan) and created the whole thing from scratch and added a compartment with kitchen hinges and the inside is all leather covered …installed a new battery (500 amps) and starting is no longer any issue …with turning the motor …all the metal on the seat is hand cut and bent and polished …also added a new oil filter from Scott’s ..make sure it’s the right one for your engine …added the oil coolers which work amazingly by lowering the oil temp drastically…still need to make what I was going to do (see previous message ) but I decided the seat was more important for me(I’m a small guy ) (5 7 136 lbs) so reaching the pedals and being comfortable was key …also added the windshield from BD…what a fantastic add on at highway speeds(faster most of the time )and you barely notice it’s there …good job guys …great quality and the billet is exceptional and well designed …so more to come …also rebuilt the front caliper from Pm …purchased all the rubbers and flushed all the old fluid and replaced it with new 5.0…( make sure u use that !!!)…the caliper had a little leak and when I took it apart everything looked brand new and no wear …although the leak went away ..obviously something was wrong …Hope everyone is doing as much riding as possible and being healthy …me all is good except working 70 to 85 hours a week …the locomotive industry is demanding the impossible ..we as a business try to perform …but labor is the issue …Again let the road be unlimited
