  What happened Pops, why the cursin???? Spend more then you wanted to????I just placed my order....:cursin:
Maxim, I understand where you are coming from, I use there blue applicator to polish the billet and a micro fiber to remove. The applicator will help cut a little but depending on how deep the hairline or spider web scratches are it may be tough getting those out. I am sure I have hairlines in mine as well. If you have concerns with you results give there toll free a call and they will help you out! I have called with questions and they were very helpful!!I too am a sucker for the next best product. I ordered the Adams 1 & 2 combo a week or so ago after reading this thread and got it in the mail a few days ago. Went straight to the polished extended forward controls I had sitting on the bench. I didn't use their blue microfiber applicator, just used a 100% cloth for that test.
The controls were pretty good already, but I never can seem to get rid of the "hairline" scratches, or spider web scratches that are left behind even after Mother's Billet. Unfortunately I can't say it did any better. Sorry, I'm picky as hell. Maybe I'm not doing it correctly, and maybe the others are having better results than I am. From a little distance they shine pretty nice, but I'll have to accept they will never be chrome.
Sorry, not giving it a bad review, but for me it didn't get rid of the hairline scratches. I applied with a couple different cloths, rubber gloves, and just the fingers and still didn't change the results.
Thanks man, I'll have to give the blue applicator a try, but mainly I just need to quit being so picky and just ride the damn thing. Just like the look of chrome like everyone else, but can't afford to chrome everything.Maxim, I understand where you are coming from, I use there blue applicator to polish the billet and a micro fiber to remove. Wow, looks like chrome! Finally took some pictures of some of the polishing I did with Adam's Metal Polish 1 & 2. Sorry it took so long guys, We've been slammed with overtime at work. I had to take them with my phone, so bare with me. I do wish that I would of taken some before pictures. I will from here on out. Next will be the Pegs, shift and brake lever...
Spent 4 hours yesterday polishing my wheels, First time using Adam's Polishes and I am sold. Unfortunately the weather prevented me from pulling th bike out and taking pictures but I will for sure this weekend!
Four hours sounds about right on the wheels. I use the mother's cone and round ball, but find that slings stuff in places that cost more time, so usually just polish rag by hand. I really like the spa towels autozone sells for a finish wipe down. I just use weimans metal and their silver polish on my wheels & chrome,it does great ( about $ 4.00 at Walmart ). I found if I use a wet soft towel to apply polish after it gets black it seems to do a lot better. I quit using my fingers in the tight places, even though it did a great job, it eats the skin off my fingers.Spent 4 hours yesterday polishing my wheels, First time using Adam's Polishes and I am sold.
