Bring It!
what do you think these bikes will run. I guess thats with an average rider with the motor mods that most of us have like exhaust, carb, heads done and cam change

At our local track you must also wear leather gloves and leather shoes or boots.
As far as KJ making 200 hp with the 124, that motor can not be run on the street and cost as much as 572" crate motor. I have been to his shop (motor build) and been at the race track when Zach run the bike with that motor, It is a beast and work of art if love technology.
I have a motor a little bigge than a 124 and have had John Sachs do extensive head work, Mikuni 48mm carb and specific built exhaust, but can only pump out 155 hp and 165 ftlb TQ. This is on 2 different Dynos so I am thinking there is some info not put into the Dyno. With the upgrades listed, the best I would expect to see, would be in the 117-119 hp and 120-125 tq.
And yeah if anybody makes it to Richmond,VA I would love to do the 1/4 mile trip.
As a side note we have inquired about renting the track for a day very reasonable $1200.00 for the 1st three vehicles and $100.00 for each add'l vehicle. This includes timing, Medical staff and track prep for 1000'.

117bigdog, Your bike with a good rider should go high10's to mid 11's. Gotta remember these bikes are heavy so torque is your friend.
Also Dyno's are good for 1 thing and that is tuning, the #'s are for bragging nights(local cruise ins) and Bar stool fights.

I have had my Mastiff down the 1/4 mile a few times and the best time has been 10.369 at MIR and the slowest has been 12.31. I haven't been back to the track since some add'l mods but seat of the pants feels like there's more but I'm not sure if my coconuts will swell up that big. I had posted a video of a weekend @ MIR when I was the only V-Twin of 16 bike and we made to the 3rd round of eliminations against the sportbikes. We should have gone futher that night but these motors don't like round robin (hot lap) and I destroyed the top end( enter John Sachs). We didn't win but we did have a lot of fun and made alot friends who kept coming by to talk. The best comment's were " You definitley have the best looking bike here" and the track champion came by to offer advice on our burnouts.

I wish I had more money.
We have had talks about something like this before. All in one class or are we divideing up 117's and the 107's?

PLEASE let me know if this happens ...I will be there !!! also I have a problem missing 2ed gear while dragging "only when I'm really getting on it" is there something out of adjustment ? or could it be just me ? but I never had this problem with anyother bike .. if I was younger I would just buy a air shifter .

Just a thought but there are cars that just run better then most ...Could be his bike is one of the really good running bikes? I know mine "never been dynoed" stock with pipes and aircleaner , just run's good and will flat out stomp my friends 110 screaming eagle power comander /pipes /cold air intake.. really easy !!!

I only have pipes (Hooker Widetails), Spike intake, jetted carb. My bro-in-law owns the local Yamaha shop. He has a 1700 Yamaha Warrior with pipes, power commander, velocity stacks, and a few other hop-ups I cant remember. Anyways, I stomp his ass like he is on a moped all the time. Last time, I waited for him and he finally caught up, and said "I give up, you can have it." On the other hand, I test rode a K9 the other day that had V&H big radius pipes, jetted carb and my Pitbull would absolutly smoke its ass! It was slower than the Warrior. Much slower. All in all other than the intake, it is the same setup as I got. So I agree, some engines that come off the same assembley line just run better than others. Who knows?

But all that said, this guy took time to share his dyno results with us, stop busting his balls over the results. He doesnt own the damn machine, and if I were him I wouldnt touch another Dyno.:D I would stick with those numbers.:D :D :D
