Just bought a sissy bar for 08 Ridgeback

It'a a siisy bar only, do I need struts or does the stock work? If I need struts, what do they run?

I have a 08 Ridgeback..If you look under the struts you will see where the adaptors bolt in? Did you purchase them new? They also have a small spacer to push your tail lights out for clearance.
But anyway the 08 Ridgeback come from the factory with struts ready to bolt on.

I have the sissy bar and 4 bolts, what else do I need, spacers?
