Well,

I'm damn stranded @ the office. Walked out to get on the Dog to ride home. Bike's been in the shop for a month getting the vfi tuned and guess what. I rode 80 miles on Saturday,didn't hook it up to the tender Saturday night,rode to work another 10 miles today and I'm dead.....Time for a new battery!!!

Riding 80 miles should have charged it up enough to ride. You may want to check the charging system after you change the battery. Should be getting somewhere around 14v while running at the battery.

Why did it take them a month to adjust the VFI?

Well, the prognosis isn't the battery or charging system. The starter housing was cracked. What's another $500.00 to get the bike rolling for a part that was probably broken from day one............................................................
