So for those of you that have helped me out Thank you.
I've had my chopper for about 8 months now and I'm still working on little issues here and there. Some leftover from previous owner, some popped up since Ive had it.
Got the belt aligned right and tightened up and notice a very small hairline crack in the pulley at the edge of one of the spoke or mag things whatever they are called. So Ill be replacing it soon, if anyone comes across a decent deal on one in good shape let me know.
I replaced the rocker box gasket and readjusted the pushrods and have had no problems since.
I got my front caliper bracket welded on (best cheap fix I could find for now) and I had to sand and repolish that area of the fork slider. Doesnt look horrible and barely noticeable but I will be looking for a new slider or maybe forks if I find a decent price. I figure at least I know I can safely ride now until I replace it.
Got the carb in tune and with my pipe I think It wouldn't hurt to go to the next size jet, but it runs well and I kinda like the pops I get sometimes.
Small Electrical issues have been corrected by tightening connections and keeping the battery on a tender.
Im saving up for a dual runner. ( love the look and have read they perform great.)
Got a decent tool bag mounted (thanks DJ!)
Bolts tight, axles cleaned and greased, fluids fresh, gonna do a good clean and polish today although I have kept her pretty clean.
I think I'm in good shape to ride down to Daytona tomorrow and catch the last weekend of bike week. Not a bad ride from Jax beach.
Still plenty I want to do to her and lots of maintenance to keep up with but overall I am enjoying the shit out of my 2003 chopper! Thanks to all who have provided valueable advice and comments!
