Jump starting from another bike....

Has any one ever used an extension to jumpstart another bike off theirs with one of these? As long as both bikes have this on there batteries? I am having a charging problem I can't figure out, after about 150 miles and prolly 7 stops at watering holes (about 20 miles apart :)) the battery doesn't have enough time to recharge. This is just a piece of mind kind of thing. (I'll figure the prob out) No one likes to go ask for a jump from a cage.

I don't think it'll handle the current of jumping if you're batt is very low or dead. :nono:

IT Might ?......But doubtful!

What gage wire?

I've used the one that comes with the Battery Tender. Plug on one side but the red and black clamps on the other. I carry it in my pack everyday.

I've used it to just start my bike but the other bike needs to be running and revving. Mine not work from a really dead battery though.
