I was talking with Donna (BigDogPartsKingpen) about a tool for removing the wires from JST connectors. She told me they used to stock them but they became too expensive to continue carrying them (Around $75) I read an earlier post from Curtis (Wildsteadworx) explaining how to make one out of a paper clip. I was planning to try that but thought I would look them up anyway. Sure enough...they are crazy expensive! However, took a chance at an electronic store (NewEgg) found one for $8.99 Works perfectly! I've got alot of wires to remove so I'm glad the tool does what it's supposed to. Thought it might be of interest to others.

Absolutely...I'll do that. She took the time to search through the warehouse and find her husband's tool so I would have an idea of what to look for. Donna's been alot of help to me and I really appreciate her. You don't get that kind of service from many vendors today but ALL of the Big Dog vendors I've dealt with have been really great. Curtis at Wildsteadworx, Andrew at Barnes Performance, Baker has been good, and recently Dragan from Sweden.

Donna called yesterday about one of my part orders...said she got the picture of the $9.00 JST Removal Tool. She said she would start carrying them. She gets a little busy sometimes and could possibly forget but I truly believe she that she makes a great effort in trying to get the parts/tools we need to keep these bikes on the road.
