2.02 intakes and I'm not a 100% on the exhaust. He set them up for a 600 S&S cam. He also cut the cylinders 40 thousands, punched them 10 over with new pistons, bored the G carb and installed a thunder jetWhat size valves did John install?
Thanks again John! you have outstanding communications and deliver exactly what you say!Ex. valves are 1.615" Pistons + .030".

How much is it to bore the carb and thunderjet it? Not sure what my valve sizes are but I can find out, but dyno sheet says I'm pushing 152 hp out of a 124 bored to 128 running a 654 cam and a programmable thunder heart ignition. I know S&S built this motor in the speed shop right before they closed it down. They built the motor for a guy that backed out the deal, and I got a great offer on it and bought it when my 117 blew a few years ago. I ride a lot in the mountains of NC and live in the upstate of SC, and visit the beach areas when I can. And I usually foul out a spark plug or it runs a little rough when going to the beach or high elevations, I've been told a thunderjet would fix that. So just curious to know what you would charge for that and boring it out if that would help also.Ex. valves are 1.615" Pistons + .030".

Yeah, a thunderjet will probably fix that. An s&s carb has trouble spanning the entire rpm with just two jets, especially on a big motor. I would consider a 48mm mikuni. The Mikunis will feed any motor across the entire rpm range with no modification, and will have better throttle response in the low-mid range due to the variable venturi. How much is it to bore the carb and thunderjet it? Back in the day, before fuel injection became the thing to have, re: RPO. These T-Jets were/are the BEST MOD for S&S carbs.
