just ordered a starter for the pit. The starter in the BBC was giving me some problems so I removed the ultima starter from the pit and replaced the BBC starter.
I found the 1.75 kw starter through Aftermarket & Custom Motorcycle Parts - Harley Davidson Parts - Cycles for 134.00 with shipping included ships via Fed EX and should have it in 5-7 days.
I know everyone has there opinion about the ultima products but so far there starters have been the best bang for the buck..
I plan on tearing down the BBC starter and finding out what is wrong with the starter.. worst case is I can fix it and have a spare on the shelf..
