What part number do I need to run in the 117 motor. I already run a 656 red shift lift cam which I have had in a year or two. The tappet blocks were clearance then for the cam.
I am looking to go to the Jims hydrosolid lifters and a good set of adjustable push rods. I have the S&S push-rods now but have been fighting a O ring leak on the push rod guides and want to change out the standard lifters and go to a adjustable push-rod to keep from taking the top end apart every time. I have already changed the O rings once to find I had a clogged check valve on the rear head which I replaced. I am thinking I want to do the lifters for my high lift cam and adjustable push rods at the same times when I replaced the O ring here again. The oil is leaking from the middle O ring and it is not leaking down from the top side. Started after sitting for the winter. Had plenty of trash in the tappet screen even after a oil change.
If anyone can point me to the site or part numbers for the 2 items I thank you. Should of done this a long time ago on this built motor. John Sachs is the shit for sure. I run 675 lift springs and his valve upgrades , porting and heads milled to bump the compression.
I am looking for the EZ adjust push rods by the way, not the S&S ones I have if someone has a preference of which one is better than the others..
Thanks in advance,
Neil
