Jetting question

I was wondering if anyone could give me any idea on where to start at with re-jetting my Super G carb. My bike had the stock Kerker 2 into 1 pipe and S&S tear drop air cleaner on it when I bought it. Since then I have put on a set of MGS Custom Pipes and a D&M spike air cleaner. Now I am ready to do the jetting, but I would like to figure out where I need to start at. I live about 40 feet above sea level down here in the Gulf coast region of Texas. Any help would be greatly appreiciated.

Here is a picture of my setup.

I wish I had more money.
Sweet wheels. I was thinking about getting mine powder coated. Leave the scalloped part polished. What do ya think? Beastly?

That will prolly look badass. Seems like alot of folks are tired of polishing and moving on to something a little easier to keep clean. I still like the shiny, see the reflection and the road type of stuff!

The dyno can read the exhaust gas and determine which jets you need.
Oh ok I was not aware of that. I thought the dyno was just for running it at a given rpm and dialing everything in right, had no idea about the exhaust gas measurement...............Learn something new everyday! Thanks!

If you dyno buy has the line to measure it. Not all do it. But here is what it will look like. Magic number is between 13.5 - 14.5 and you see the line on the printout.

By the way, your dyno guy may tell you to shitcan that aircleaner if your looking for performance!

Raywood is "dyno buy" the type of dyno machine? Or did you mean "dyno guy"?
I figured they prolly will tell me to get rid of the air cleaner, but I am not looking for an increase in performance. Just want a good looking scoot, that does not run rich, lean or cough. I am hoping that with the dyno and tune I may get rid of some of the decel pop as well!

I can't see the photobucket picture you attached......Work firewall blocks photobucket out. :bang:

Don't know why you can't view the pictures above. Deas that mean you can't see any photo's on this site? Most come from links outside this site like photobucket.
Check you settings as you say to see if you blocking them yourself.

he might have meant your "dyno" guy.
Good catch......... Too many beers! :D

Thanks Raywood, work blocks all the good shit out!
I see what you were talking about on the "magic number" now. Does or is that magic suppose to stay around 13.5 to 14.5 at any RPM?

That question is a bit over my head. Maybe John Saks on here can answer it for you.
But you should also know that this range shown is pretty much just the main jet. The intermediate starts turning over to the main at 2000-2500.

And there is a long list of threads on what the magic number should be but it ranges right around what I stated.

Good luck.
