You can use the search option at the top of the page. There are plenty of threads on jets. You can also go to the S&S web site for more info. From my experience you are most likely running on both jets at the same time. Dose the bike get a hesitation or a lurching feeling at 55 to 60 mph? You may have to have an air bleed jet installed.

Also make sure you have a clean air filter.

You can also expect a visit from the intro police shortly.

Good luck!

32/76 is a good starting point depending on what has or hasn't been done to the bike
I do not know what has been done to the bike, I assume nothing I have a buddy that has one almost identical
He can go 125 miles till he hits reserve,me about 70. I have also changed plugs and new ones are black Rich running.
Do you have any idea what roughly the factory jets were main and pilot I watched a you tube S&S video about how to jet it I just need a good starting point.
Thank you

The bike does not have any surging issues about 55 or 60, I have completely rolled the throttle at about 10 mph.
It takes off like a race Horse about 4 to 5 thousand rpms I do not have a tach,It will miss for a split second and back to rapping out.
No hesitations at all just kinda a that split second miss when 100% Hammering it.
Thanks

If you want to get decent mileage you need to control you're right wrist a little. My 107 will get 42 on the two lane highways crusing and drop to below 30 acting stupid light to light in town. Check you're accelarator pump also. It may need adjusted.

Also open up you're carb and see what jets you have before you spend money on a jet kit you will have on a shelf gathering dust. The bike shop I deal with will sell individual jets so I did not have to buy an entire set.

Good luck

You asked for help but never updated as to what happened. My bike came with a 29.5 intermediate and 72 main jet, after an exhaust change by the dealer same day I bought it the main jet was changed to 74. The bike ran great until I made more mods. This may not apply to your bike, depending on the altitude and where you are located. Sometimes Fuel economy can best be achieved if you say off the throttle or adjust you accelerator pump, provided it is running rich. Or you can wait for Sven to come on here and describe the physics of every piece within the carburetor and really fuck with your mind and still not get any better gas mileage. LOL

Give us an update as to the changes you have tried or made, if any. Hopefully someone can chime in and help you out.
