Like a goon I never wrote down my jet size on my K9, anyone help me with what to start with. 117 with 2nt2 BR and Spike filter... Heading over to Strokers tomorrow to pick up a few goodies and I was going to pick up some jets as well.

I have the same set-up and I'm running a .031 Intermediate and .076 Main jet. I have no problems with this set-up...:D

I think doing a exhaust gas analyzer is good to get it right...here is mine.. air fual ratio on bottom... I got the hooker 2into 2 pipes ..almost the same as the V&H big radius

Thumper....I have the same setup with the spike pointed forward and I'm running 032 and 076. No problems with this setup, bike runs good in the winter and summer.

A friend of mine came by today and was having trouble with his 06 K-9. While you are running down the road about 60 and let off and it goes down to around 50 when you start to accelerate back up it starts falling all over itself. I checked jets and it had 31-76 in it and i changed it to 31-78 and it still does it ,I even pulled the bowl vent plug out and it still does it. Do you think I need to go a size larger on intermed. jet. He just put a spike intake on it it was not doing this with the stock air breather.

Eric,
You must have some sort of cam (600-640-585) to be pullin' those kind of numbers? Very Good:2thumbs:
