1999 BigDog vintage sport. Just changed oil and filter. Oil light won't go off. Anyone have any ideas? Thanks.

Make sure you used the correct filter. The oil light should only take one minute to go off after bike is running.

Filter is correct. Maybe a grounding issue? Not sure. Thanks for getting back to me so quickly.
try another filter.
Years ago when I did one on my olf bike someone gave me a tc filter rather than an evo
there was no number stamped on the filter and it was in the evo box
was a very messy week while Ifigured it out.

Thanks for the info. The filter I used is supposed to be for an Evo as per the tech at Dennis Kirk. I'll try calling S&S to see what they recommend.

I'd recommend a sifton filter (permenant) you just clean it and never replace it again.
WildSteedWorx carries them.

Sorry. Just seeing this now. I'm guessing you mean oil pressure gauge. I don't have one on there yet. I bought one from zdennis Kirk but I haven't installed it yet.
