I have a 2004 big dog chopper. The battery shows good and I have lights. It will not turn over or anything. I had a loose cable on battery and it got hot yesterday. I got home and tightened it. But it will not start what so ever. Did I fry something to keep it from starting ?

sounds to me like the battery is just a little too weak to start the beast. if you do a search on the subject, you will find that there is a minimum (roughly 12.8 v) that is needed of the battery to do the job. put the battery on a tender overnight and try again. if that doesn't work, take the battery and get it load tested to see if you might need a replacement. this is where i would start.
