I posted a while ago about my 03 chopper having transmission problems. Got a bouilders kit from Baker and rebuilt it. its on the bike but now I'm havin issues gettin the jack shaft to seat correctly and the bolt that holds it on the starter wont reach the threads. I'vew searched the threads to no avail. Anyone have any ideas?

The starter is tight and the primary rear cover is seated as well.

I had the same problem when I used a Ultima starter on me Deuce Jackshaft was not engaging flywheel enough ,so I went to home depot and got a threaded rod and double nut the end and put locktight on the other or you got the coupling backwards

Got her figured out. working on the dog into the wee hours of the morning while drinking PBR and didnt pay attention to the couplerwhen I put it in. Figured out I had it on backwards. Felt dumb as hell
