Ya know its not just that they broke it. Its that they covered it up!

They could have just broke it, told you about it, its just as much not their fault that it broke. Things happen. Charge you for the repair of the broken bolt. make more biz and therefore $$$. But to cover it up... WOW.
:agree: I'm speechless. I cannot fathom that someone would actually cover an issue like that up.. Hope you took pictures...My second thought was the dealer will deny everything.. Not good for them....

I'm still waiting for a response to the email I sent. I won't name them until I hear from them.

It wasn't a full Dealer. Only an authorized service shop.

Be Nice

You have to go about this in the correct way.

1. Be Nice when you locate the Mechanic.

2. In a soft friendly voice, ask him if in fact he was the professional Mechanic that had the opportunity to work on your precious "BigDog".

3. And when he says "YES" I was the one :

4. With a Huge Smile on your face, Look him right in his eyes and :

5. AND PUNCH THE SHIT OUT OF HIM. Knock his Friggen teeth out of his head.
(Sorry, My New Jersey is Showing:angry:)

Obviously he has no idea what he is doing. Thank goodness that YOU were the one that found that while in your garage, and not at 60 MPH.

Just my 2 Cents.

and I thought that a Jack ASS mechanic leaving aluminum shavings in my throttle side switch housing was irresponsible. Yeah it made my bike shut-off unexpectedly in traffic, but nothing like the front wheel potentially falling off .... yeah i'd be all up in that mother fuckers face about this. get 'em.
