Hi Andy,
It's really great to log on and see a post from you. You really had us worried and if ever there was a "group prayer", this forum certainly had one for you. I too have become wiser over the years due to similar incidents and try to never take anything or anyone for granted. Often, you'll hear the saying, "if you have your health, you have everything". I live by that saying and I'm sure you to too, now. We all knew Cindy was a hero and we wish you a full, speedy recovery.

I have been unable to check the forum for a little while and thought I better sign in today and see if there were any updates. I couldn't beleive it when I saw a post from the man himself. I am happy to hear you are recovering. We have all been keeping you in our thoughts and prayers.

There is nothing that I can say or write that won't repeat or mirror the thoughts and feelings already posted by your "family" here.:2thumbs:To see you once again post on this forum is just simply OUTSTANDING !!:whoop:With a spouse that has gone through something similiar, I know that you will still experience some minor bumps in the road of your recovery. But with the support of Cindy, your family, and your family & friends here, and with the incredable fortitude you have already demonstrated, you can handle them. It is really GREAT to see you are at home and doing well !!!

Hey Andrew,
Great to see you back on here again with that 1st post and very, very well put I might Add. {Ray Understands}. It is tough I know it is for a fact. You are going to tottally recover very soon, of that I have no doubts at all. You have already come a very long way in a short amount of time, realistacally speaking. You have too many things going for you for it not to happen. Ray would and will say "You are highly favored amoung men!" My mother is always talking about "How Lucky I was not to have died when I got hurt". I roll my eyes at her:rolleyes:, and tell her calmly, "You know luck didn't have anything to do with it..... It was not my time!!! I had, as well as you have a lot more in store in your future that we couldn't even imagine happening at this point in the game. There will be like rocking chair stories you can tell about everything as things have a different perspective now. I know about that different perspective you were talking about as well. It is a good thing too! :) You and Cindy are going to make it through this and it is kinda like a line in a song I listen to a lot , even in my old pick up now," Through the fire my weakness is made strong!"

Speaking of highly favored!!!! To everyone and anyone that watched this unfold from November till now. I commend you all and am glad to be a part of this forum. You all made a huge difference in your prayers and support for Andrew and Cindy. Andrew and Cindy believe it! There a total of 888 Replies and there were ( pay attention!) 18,592 Viewed this forum checking on Andy in a three month period!

God Bless you all!

Guys,
I am truly honered and lucky to have all of you as friends. It absolutely amazes me what a fine decent group of people there is here.
This a unique place.
Before I bought the Big Dog I used to go to a forum for Goldwing riders( my other bike is a GL1800) and I haven't been back over there and certainly wouldn't post anything as open and honest as I did here.
Here there's so many wonderful and caring folks that I can't get over my good fortune at finding this place.

Thanks again to all of you for being so darn great...........there, .....now picture me with hat in hand, bowing in respect to your collective greatness.
Oh yeah. pictures of cane to follow.

Saluad!!!

Andrew, I am glad that you are on the mend and that everything is going to be Ok.

Your continued recovery is still in my prayers and let Cindy know that she is also included.

ALL THIS AND YOU ONLY HAVE (15) POSTS. think about what if you were an old time member???!!!

more than likely emotions are gonna really get strained in the next few months of rehab, but for heaven's sake, be very conscious and aware of Miss Cindy's feelings. remember, she has gone through everything that you have and more (being told that there was nothing more the doctors could do) in the last three months. be good to her.

thoughts and prayers. :2thumbs:
