ISO: Factory EHC Module

My 07 Chopper has a short in the Factory EHC Module.. My work has slowed down and cut my income in half of what it had been... I guess I'm at the point of thinking I may no longer be able to afford my Dog.. I would like to buy a GOOD Factory EHC Module and return the Dog back to good running order and send him on to his next owner to enjoy... if anyone can help, please message me or email at

"I was in a very similar situation last week.Left me high and dry in Target Parking lot.I called and had a shop come get it. Mine 2007 K9. Next morning he found a used one at his shop that wasn't giving the customer any trouble but wanted to change it out for piece of mind sake he said. With the availability and the cost I took a shoot at it. Since then I have put on a couple of hundred trouble free miles on(knock knock KNOCK!!!) I'm riding-getting wind in my face going fast being as cool as I can with what I have. The unit we found was evidently the upgraded one and never did give the original owner any trouble he said. There is a lot of "he said" a lot of "Blind Faith" Could last for ever could buy me a week.

I do understand the chance of buying a used Module... My hopes was to come across a longtime, trustworthy member in here and work out a deal where I would be allowed to have them send it to Wild Steed Worx... to have it Bench Test before hand.. Of course I would cover the Test fees in that case...

I have one I tool off my 2007 K-9 when I did the Wireplus "Upgrade" Everything was working when I took it out, and there were no signs of issues. I thought I was getting ahead of a problem after reading too many items.

The problem is, mine is not the same part number as yours. Mine says:
PN 171-000010-00 Rev B
Carb EHC - 01-0476-00 RB
S/N 00840

I, running a 2007 K9 ran into a very similar problem when trying to put a band aid on rather than a redo. I got lucky enough to find one that a member who was having no issues ,decided to have his machine rewired-I bought his old one. I now wonder why I didn't go with the purchase of the NEW Thunder-Heart component instead rather than used original. Anyone help me with this one? So far I got lucky and every aspect is functioning perfectly, and it may always, never break down or its just a matter of time. Let me give @z4racer a big Thank You.. he reached out to help me with an EHC he had, at a more than fair price... we didn't ever seal our deal, due to me going ahead with a new RIP kit.. hell of a guy he is!!
