ISO - 2004 Chopper DT Seat

Greetings

I am looking for a used/inexpensive original seat for a 2004 Chopper DT. My original seat pan was modified and I don't like it but I need to keep it as is. I eventually want to get the seat done in an alligator so if the leather is not in great shape that is fine. Let me know if you have something.

Well Eric...I have my old seat off my chopper RT. It is ripped. Not sure if it will fit a DT frame. Just thought I,d throw it out there.

Thanks but from what I have read, the DT and the RT frame shapes are different. I will keep that in mind.

I have an RT. That wouldn't happen to be from a 2004 Chopper?

Thank. I already researched that, and the 05 changed and the seat does not fit. I can find an 05 DT all over the place. Seems to me, the 04 DT was a step child bike. Hard to find stuff for it. I have a call into Donna but hoping to find a used seat as a backup if they do not have one. I know there has to be somebody out there with one sitting on a shelf.

Someone will correct me if my facts aren't straight, (be kind), but in 2004 Big Dog had issues with the Rolling Thunder (RT) frames and used some Day Tech (DT) frames for some of their production.

FYI the PN of the seat is 1456-1. I have Donna trying to track one down but looking for a plan B or even a Plan A....
