Is this worth it?

Energy One

BroadBand

Since late 60's
My 1st impression was along the lines of hype that surrounds magnetic copper
braclets that promise better health, well being and everything else. Should be on a late night commercial, you know, too good to be true stuff.

I would think that S&S R&D had scoped out everything there is to know about
the G carbs by now.

That's alot of money for a screw....maybe that's the point===> getting screwed.

From the description:
The Boyesen S&S QUICKSHOT is a cost effective, bolt-on upgrade that allows accelerator pump fuel spray to be adjusted simply with the turn of a screw.
Now the spray volume and duration can be set based on engine displacement and level of modification. The S&S QUICKSHOT is also supplied with a
NEW precision spray nozzle tip. The single hole sprayer tip directs and injects the fuel more efficiently than stock. A fine high speed stream of fuel, atomizes faster to improve throttle response and acceleration.

If you want to improve the general running of the bike install a yost power tube kit in the carb. Only takes 10 minuites but improves throttle response and overall performance.

I've found this webpage Yost Power Tube Atomizer - S&S B, D, E, G carbs (DS289120) by Yost Performance - Direct Harley

Tell me... is it a "Plug & Play" or is there some mods to be made to the Carb?
Only the tube is going to be changed, or needle, etc also?

Thanks.
Mods not required. But if you are going to do this you might want to look at a Tripple X carb. Which has been, bored out more than stock, had a booster installed and can be purchased in stock finish or chrome finish.

Most of the carb mods really don't add a lot of power to your engine overall. Best thing to do is look at a combination of parts. Intake, carb, cam, exhaust and ignition. And fore more power you will need to pull the jugs and heads for work and more compression.

If a product says its gonna give you 5% more power, most likely you might get 2%/3%. so if you're makin 100 HP you're gonna bump it to about 103 HP. Not much but if you're a wrench head its fun to do and you learn about your motor and stuff.

Performance S&S Carburetors by Triple X Carbs - American Made

They are good to work with :2thumbs:

You can but outright or exchange yours for one that is already set up. I previuosley had a 05 Pit that came with a E carb and they took it in on swap for a modified G Carb. I think Raywood is still running his modified E carb which probabley had 50,000 plus miles on it. It out to be in a mueseum. Sorry can't spell this morning.

Just installed Boyesen Quickshot on my '03 Pitbull. I installed it to get rid of the coughing when getting on the throttle. To my surprise, it starts faster. My 107 was hard to start before, but now hits as soon as you touch the switch. It also revs like crazy. For those who think it is just a screw, your mistaken. There are other mods involved, such as replacing the spray nozzle, which is included. They also recommend replacing the diaphragm which sells as a kit for around $35. I'm a believer now!
