Yesterday I disconnected the battery tender, checked the oil, added air to the tires of my 03 mastiff, rolled her outside turned on the ignition, hit the start button and got three slow rolls of the engine. I looked down at the speedo and noticed my odometeter display had disappeared. Time for a new battery this one was three years old and tired. I got a new battery slow charged it all night, put it in this afternoon bike fired up on the first revolution sounded great. I headed down the road ,looked down no speedo, no odometer no light no needle movement. I pulled over shut the bike down turned the key off then on again, For a little under a second after I turn the key on the speedo lights up the odometer comes on it makes its little ticking noise as it comes up then all goes dark. Everything else on the bike is working flawlessly: signals, horn, high beam, brake lights etc etc. So did my speedo just die on me or could there be something else? I just don't want to buy another speedo if it's a problem somewhere else down the line. Thanx for thelp
