I've got a nitrous express wet kit on one of my v-twin kawasaki atv's and a boondocker on my brute force. The boondocker (dry kit) is harder to tune, but I like it much better.Instead of spraying additional fuel with your N20, it has a line from the nitrous manifold that pressurizes your float bowls adding more fuel.I'm real sharp on modding Kawi v-twin atv engines but I have never touched the carb on my dog.
I havent even paid attention (I just ride the thing it hasnt broke yet lol) but since it only has one carb you could use a kit for a single cylinder.Just tap the fogger into the intake between the carb and the intake port and your'e good to go. Not alot of wires, but it would be a pita to hide the wires.
All you have is a ground and a hot (12v) to the fuel pump (with a wet kit)
Fuel pump would be prolly 6 inches long with a 2" od
Ground and a hot to the fuel solenoid
Ground and a hot to the nitrous solenoid
Wires to from the solenoids to a button or switch (some use a wot switch that goes thru a relay but I never use em)
You have to tee off of your fuel line for the fuel pump supply.
Line from the pump to the bottle
Line from the solenoid to the bottle
And the hoses from the solenoids to the foggers.
Of course you'd use all braided hoses for durability and the bling factor. If I ever put one on mine I'm gonna mount the bottle between the forks:lol: .Should be ok to spray around a 30 shot with the lower compression of a factory bdm s&s 117, I know nothing about the rotating assembly or the rods in this particular engine so I dont know what they could handle.I learned the hard way with my brute force so now I have a falicon 6mil stroker crank and knife edge rods, bigger valves,JE 13:5 to 1 pistons, cwr .464 cams with hardened extended rockers and pretty much all custom parts lol.Only thing you gotta watch for with the HC motors and nos is your pistons& headgaskets once you get a bulletproof crank and rods.Big timing is not good either.I've blown a couple even with the 3 layer comitec gaskets, pressure has to go somewhere I guess.
ANyhow
Nitrous Express "Next Generation Nitrous Oxide Systems" will have a kit that will work.Usually can get em for 6 to $800..Good luck and put it on a dyno or get a good LM1wideband and be sure the dog is breathin right once you get it installed.
