Is there a battery cover out there

I have an 05 pit bull and I need a battery cover in good shape. I just bought my bike and when I took off the seat I found that the previous owner had taped the battery cover together on the inside and all the tabs to bolt it to the frame are broken off and gone! Pathetic! I could not do someone like that...but it is what it is. If anyone knows of one I'd love to hear from you!

My neigbour is a bodyman and he took a heater box off a Honda car and cut out a piece of the plastic. It is the same thickness as my K9 cover. He plastic welded it on and cut and molded it and drilled out the hole for the bolt. Didn't have to paint because it is under the seat. Worked out perfect. Didn't take him more than an hour.

I'm with Ray. With a little ingenuity you can have it squared away. And save a couple duckets along the way.

I made my own tabs as well..used Wal-Mart fiberglass and it is now stronger than it
was new..

FWIW....BDPP sells a fix kit for this issue. Maybe easier n cheaper just to glass it in? Someone here had talked about having them made out of metal?? Not sure if they ever did?
