Is it the clutch or belt?

When I'm riding slow and easy bike does fine. When I hit the throttle hard bike acts almost like its in neutral. My first thought was loose belt like the power wasn't being transferred to the tire. Now I think about it I'm wondering if clutch is slipping. I'm not overly familiar with the clutch system. It doesn't creep at all. But it is a pain to find neutral when stopped, but that is nothing new. I tightened the belt, but I didn't think it was all that loose. No guage for an exact measurement. I'm gonna test it out today. Any thoughts?

It could be that your clutch plates are worn. First, I would check the adjustment on the clutch pushrod. Make sure it's backed off the pressure plate 1/4 turn before you tighten the locknut back down, then adjust your slack out of your cable.

I'm thinkin Yall are right. I took it for a spin today and didn't have any problems but I wasn't romping on it either. I'll check out the adjustment next time she's in the air. Thanks for the thoughts.
