It is a Pitbull! You're both right. I never compared the two until now and how close they are in specs. Thanks for the correction.. Getting old is tuff!

Guess I'll jump in here and introduce my lovely wife! Yes, she rides with me (sometimes) IF the weather is Good and Warm, and only on my Heritage Springer (more comfy) and rarely on my chopper. But yes she rides and has been on several long trips!

I Love her and she is my Best Friend!

Shovelcowboy:cheers:

A recent (2008) pic of her on my recently completed chopper build.:whoop:

And an old scanned photo (fav of mine) of her shortly after we met in SoCal 22 years ago (circa 1990).:whoop:

Congrats to all who still have their spouses to ride with them or next to them on their own bike!:2thumbs:
Enjoy each day (and mile/smile) together!

Thank God for each day - you never know when the journey may end. I sure miss my riding partner...gone 4 years now..

Her she is.
After 43 years of marriage two kids, six grandchildren later, still has a hand in everything. This is at the Big Dog factory in Kansas where we picked out my '07
chopper, and she helped design the paint for my American Eagle theme.
Look at all those puppies looking for homes!!:whoop::up::2thumbs:

Congrats, and great pics! :2thumbs:
(though it makes me sad to see all the 'Dogs sitting there waiting for their new homes...those were the days, my friend!)

Thanks Mike (k9anniv) and God Bless you for hanging in there and keeping her at the top of discussion. I have a couple friends have gone thru that and admire their courage to press on. They are a witness to me and making me appreciate my wife more every day.

RETIRED
[/IMG]The old lady with her 07 heritage. We've only been married 42 years this summer. Her longest trip so far was Virginia to Kentucky( about 1500 miles when all said and done). Taught her how to ride in 07, bought her the 07 heritage and had it lowered and butchered the seat to get the fit right(she's every bit of five feet tall) and she took to it like a duck to water. Its' great to have a wife with the same interest.

You need to add at least one more option to the pole.
Either "most of the time" or "sometimes" .
My wife has her own bike but will ride with me once in a while on short trips.

Here is my girlfriend Patty and here 1st bike. 2008 1200 sporty low. She only rode on the back of my chopper 2x and decided to go out and buy her own. So we went to a local HD dealer and she checked out a few bikes and when she sat on the sporty she said this is it.
She put $500 down to hold the bike and said I'll be back Monday to buy it. But 1st I gotta learn to ride. At this point she had never even started a motorcycle before and only sat on my about 5 times including the 2 rides. She went and took a riders safety class over the weekend. after the first day on the Honda 250 rebel she was scared as hell, crying and didn't want to go back on Sunday. She sucked it up and went, passed her class and we went and bought the bike. She was a little timid at 1st so we took our time and taught here to ride. Then the 1st time out by herself while sitting at a stop light 1/4 mile from home she was side swiped by a driver that didn't see her and she dropped the bike and jumped on the sidewalk. She said she felt the car brush her leg. But now after having a full Northeast season under her belt and about 2000 miles she is good to go. Everyday she says she loves her bike.

and us and her bike the day she took delivery.
