Interesting Kickstand/Peg Issue

It was the one missing bolt!!! The one bolt tightened the entire assembly. It acts as counter-lever. Would never have guessed that. Could not find the same chrome 12 point bolt but replaced it with a normal hex bolt and a lock washer. Its under the bike and can't be seen anyway.:chopper:

Now its back to the sissy bar project!:cheers:

I got a set of RT struts. The offset is in the front where the struts mount to the frame under the seat. I am fabricating two "spacers" that fill in the gap. Then having them welded to the RT struts and getting them Powder Coated black. Everything else matches up perfect.

The difference is about 3/4 of an inch. My current strut is on the left (black and still attached). This shot is looking dowwn the right side of the bike.
