Removed the last of the billet today & here is what I am left with

After I got her stripped down, started inspecting and found wear any place anything touches the frame.

Look at the break line clamp adn the damage it has taken from vibration

And the rear break wiring & lines

Also with the removal of the rear tire you can see where the spike I ran over in Custer State Park hit my oil tank & frame.

So inspect your dog! Avoid any wiring touching the frame unless it's secured tight if thats possible.

I hear that it's on the list. Having the rear fender repainted adn figured I would stick the dot sticker on the rear frnder down low once I get it back. Yes dot sticker is going bye bye.

Gas is right, pulling the motor tranny adn battery box with all the wiring is a much bigger and more complicated task. I am just removing bolts and taking shit off.

For those of you that did Gas' how to on shrink wrapping your wires, on the right side of the bike down by the frame there are more connectors that can be shrink wrapped. At first I thought the black wrap that covers them was a tube cover, but it's not. You can unwrap those wires, check for wear, and shrink wrap the couple of connectors that are covered by the wrap. I would think these would be important since they are so close to the ground, and take heavy water in any sort of rain.
