Inner bearing race

Does anyone have any method for removing the inner bearing race from the transmission shaft (primary bearing):bang::bang:

My guess though is he's going to tell you which expensive tool you need.

Fire, I may have one. I made some for a guy that rebuilt Skogdogs transmission. If I had the picture I could match it and send it to you.

You are correct about the expensive tool needed. JIMS makes an inner bearing race tool that will pull the race off, and then press it back on. But, even with the correct tool, it's best to heat the inner race up with a MAP gas torch. Otherwise, you risk breaking the tool:bang: $230 retail.
You might be able to find one on amazon for less.
