Hi Guys,

I just purchased a 2007 mastiff, really nice.

I tested it and everything was fine, i started 2 times when i was there with the seller. i trailered it home a connected to a battery tender in my garage.

One week later, when i was ready to clean it and ride it, tried to start it, but its not doing anything. Just got the speedo working, not the headlight, not the taco, does not do anything, not even an attempt to star...don't know if it has a security switch or something. Tried to contact the guy who sold it to me...so far no l

Can anyone tell me where to check in the meantime to see if it starts?

Thanks a lot.

Sounds like a dead battery, did you try jumping it? If you do try to jump it, do not have the jumping vehicle running. Just hook up cables and see if lights work without trying to start.

I didnt try that yet but my battery tender was in light green so assumed the battery is fully charged

The weird thing is that when i try to start it, the intensity of the few lights that are on is steady, it does not decrease. Or is this normal when the battery is completely dead...??

what are you referring to as fully charged? MUST be over 12.8 when cranking. less ain't gonna cut it.

If your running the stock EHC on the scoot there's no fuse box.

If you have a PDM installed on the scoot then there is a fuse box.

A stock system will have a single fuse or circuit breaker but should not prevent you from starting the scoot, it's only protection from the charging system to the battery.

I would think you missed a wire connection on the battery. Make sure you hook up all the connections to the battery and make sure the connections to the starter are tight also.

Amazing, not fuse box to protect the system.

This is what i have checked so far:

Battery- not the problem. I got 2 more BDM bikes and replaced the bike to see if it will start...but nothing happened.
With my other bikes, when you pass the switch the leds in the small square aluminum box light up inmediately, but not on this one.

As you told me, the bike works directly with the EHC, so theres no fuse box.

Checked all cables and wires, none unplug, except for those 2 little ones shown in the picture attached. Dont know what they for or where they go connected...if..

Anybody has any idea what might be causing the problem before i take it to a shop? By the way, dont know any BDM shop here in Jacksonville FL)

Any additional help would be greatly appreciated
