My condolences. The Marines have a hard time when they come home and need all the support you can give them.

My Brother In-Law tried to commit Suicide a few months back. Fortunately, he was unable to get into his house to get a gun and his wife called his best friend. A lot of people (including myself) can't imagine their PTSD or whatever you want to name it. It's a real problem for these guys and women. He planned it all out. He gave all his tools away, etc and intended to do it in the coroner's parking lot to make it "easy" for all!

Back in 1986 I did not want to go to collage so I tried enlisting in the Marines. But failed the physical when they looked at my scar and asked what that was about. When I told them I had 1/2 my left lung removed but the upper lobe had expanded down. They said NO! It really hurt. I had been playing rugby for 2 yrs since my high school coach refused to allow me to play on the football team because of my lung issue I decided to join the Shreveport rugby team consisting of 25-35 yr old men. Had a lot of fun. But i had no physical ailments and could out preform 3/4 of all recruits. The USMC still said NO, so La Tech said yes so off to collage I went.

Spent 6 weeks in the hospital. 1983. I had Histoplasmosis in my left lower lobe. My scar is 30" long . Looks horrible, that's why my back is tattooed to hide it. You have not lived till you have that much scar tissue tattooed over!!IMG_3398.JPG

I just checked with a Mr. Webster and his definition of "GURU" and ours differs slightly.
You need a new dictionary,:oldhardlaugh:

Definition of guru
  1. 1 : a personal religious teacher and spiritual guide in Hinduism

  2. 2a : a teacher and especially intellectual guide in matters of fundamental concern
  3. b : one who is an acknowledged leader or chief proponent
  4. c : a person with knowledge or expertise : expert
